Dear Sir,
By
this proposal, we want to ask for your donation to support our program in
increasing the result of harvest of our ponds products, like salt, fish and shrimp.
The
donation can be in the form of financial for our capital in cultivating the
farms. The farmers in our village are mostly lack of capital to improve our
products. Actually the results of our harvest are so abundant and have good
quality. But they can be better if we they do not treat and store in a suitable
place.
So
by sending this proposal we want to catch your interest in investing your fund
for our capital to make our product be improved. The donation also will
increase the people prosperity.

A.
Background
Salt farming is the most
significant and important in our country, especially for the people in
Bumimulyo village, Batangan, Pati regency, Central Java Indonesia. Farming is
the primary sector and the living of people in our village. It is about 90% of
our inhabitant depend their life on the farming result, especially the salt
pond. Salt becomes the prime commodity of our village.
So far the farmers use
traditional method in cultivate their farms and only depend on the nature. The
major product is salt. To make good salt it need a good land, and also enough
capital.
B.
Problems
Since the farmers still use
traditional methods with simple equipments, the harvest result of their farm is
not maximal and the farmers also only get minimal earning. Farmers also have
difficulties in marketing their products. They tend to sell the product in low
price because the result is abundant but they do not know how and to whom they
may sell their products.
We need some capital to improve
the commodity and also the price of our products.
C.
Purpose
The purpose of our proposal is to
ask for some finance to be our capital to help the farmers. We tend to make a
cooperative for the farmers, so that we will buy their products of salt, fish
and shrimp, then they can also borrow some money for their capital. They may
return the money after they harvest.
All of them are purposed to
improve the life of farmers in our village.

Importance
The importance of this proposal
is to ask for your assistant in giving us some donation to increase the
products of salt, fish and shrimp, and also to improve our living.

Planning
After we receive the donation, we
will manage them well. We will set up a cooperative for the farmers and then
improve our prosperity.
